Arkknights launches its latest side story and sees one character preparing for their tearful farewell. The update also brings three new powerful operators and a plethora of new furniture, rewards and more.

Lingering Echoes takes place at Leithanien, a magical place where the infected have journeyed too in order to heal themselves, a trait that has drawn the attention of Rhodes Island. As intriguing as that is, however, mysterious healing happenings will have to wait because Czerny, the infected composer, is holding a farewell concert, in which Ebenholz and Kredie will experience a story of intrigue and resistance. Lingering Echoes will last until January 10th, with the second phase, Back Alleys, starting up on January 3rd.

During this event, you will be able to play the maestro themselves, Czerny, as a bonus operator. Obviously, for a composer, they are of course a 5-star defender instead of a support, because why not. You will also be able to gain the new furniture, the Afterglow-styled Music Room which sounds pretty nice. There are others to collect such as Headhunting Permit, LMD and Battle Records from Composer’s Mailbox simply by clearing the event stages.

This event brings with it three new powerful operators to collect. The 5-star Czerny is an Arts Protector, who can use their second skill to boost their defence to tank attacks easier and return fire with powerful damage. Backing him up is Hibiscus the Purifier, a 5-star Healer who will sometimes choose to attack enemies instead of healing friends, so if you want a dedicated healer probably best to pass her up.

Finally, the 6 Star Ebenholz is a mystic caster who specializes in Damage per Second. Whilst he can use his Arts to damage a single target, his true power comes when he doesn't attack. When passive, he will store up his attacks for a maximum of three, and the next time he attacks all the stored moves will hit, resulting in a four-hit burst for considerable damage.

Arknights is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
