Gungho Online Entertainment Inc has decided the hit RPG Puzzle and Dragons doesn’t have enough dragons. So, starting today, they have struck up a collaboration with the renowned series Monster Hunter. Enemies such as the Malzeno and the dreaded Rathalos have made the leap until January 8th.

Lost Light enters the festive season and brings a major new feature

Posted by Shaun Walton on December 23rd, 2022

NetEase Games has announced the arrival of a major new feature for its survival shooter game Lost Light. As well as entering into its festive, snow-filled battlefield phase, Lost Light has also added a long-awaiting mechanic to its fights; First-person Mode.

Shooter fans have always had their sticking points in debates; what gun you use, is camping a viable strategy, and just how much hate should spawn campers get, but players will also have a preference for third or first-person view. After spending the beginning of its life exclusively third person, Lost Light will now give you the opportunity to see the bullets flying straight for you in first person. This mode is also toggleable at will, so you can switch as the situation demands.

Somewhat hilariously, the arrival of this new feature comes alongside the introduction of snow to the battlefield, and when a sudden snowstorm hits you won’t be able to see anything in either mode anyway. The Winter Exclusion zone will provide plenty of new tactical ways to play the game; stalking enemies will be a bit easier when they can’t see you as well, but then again you can be on the receiving end too.

It isn’t just combat, as Christmas brings all the creature comforts you could want, even in a warzone. By taking part in the new event you will be able to collect Gingerbread and win Targeted Serum + Permanent Weapon Skin. You will even have the chance to draw for exclusive prizes such as further Weapon Skins, Backpacks, Glasses and even Christmas Outfits. The thought of a sudden bell-adorned ugly Rudolf sweater bursting out of a snowblind and unloading with an AK is surely just the type of Christmas image we are all hoping for.

Lost Light is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
